Accomplished Leader

Even as a first-year legislator, James rose to leadership. He currently serves as chairman of the Business and Commerce Committee. His appointment as chair of this standing committee set state history as a first term senator being named to such a leadership position. In that role, he has drafted, ran and passed several important reform bills, including the Performance Audit and Accountability Act. https://sapulpatimes.com/leewright-appointed-chair-of-senate-business-commerce-and-tourism-committee-makes-state-history/
